Opening Ceremony In The New Fashion

OPENING CEREMONY IN THE NEW FASHION

The fashion industry has changed a lot in the past years, with celebrity-style “fashion” at the forefront of modern-day society. Clothing, which a few decades ago was worn to cover up for modesty, is now flaunted for its impact on people’s perceptions about themselves. In times like these, it seems like there is no end to what designers and pre-owned labels can do with clothing. This has resulted in consumers taking a greater interest in what they wear as they want more than just something that will last through their college days or one wearing season.

This newfound desire has led to the rise of students wanting to learn how things are made and why specific garments may stand out amongst others. This has resulted in the emergence of school clubs ranging from fashion clubs to particular research groups, with the latter field focused on the fashion industry.

One of these groups is a club that aims to educate students about clothes through various projects (all of which are listed below). This club is called Frozen Fashion, which focuses on Pre-owned brands and designers. Frozen Fashion’s goal is to educate students about pre-owned clothing companies and their designs. This includes giving out information about brand representatives who can talk about their company’s history, what each line offers, and how customers can best use the products.

Besides this, Frozen Fashion also plans on promoting the use of pre-owned Fashion to the students at the school. This includes having student leaders participate in events to spread awareness of secondhand clothing and participate in student life events like game shows and open mics. Frozen Fashion also hopes to have its members stay involved with the organization even after their time at Cal Poly Pomona has passed through social networking and meeting up frequently for games or other activities.

In conclusion, Frozen Fashion hopes to educate students about pre-owned fashion lines, their background, and their importance in the fashion industry. It also aims to spread awareness about pre-owned clothing and make it more prevalent in society for people to buy clothes that have not just one wearing season but many.
